Data protection/data privacy

To promote confidence in using the Internet, we at Veramex are happy to explain what happens to any information you divulge here. The following tells you what kind of information is collected, and how we use that information.

Information on Data Protection
You can access most pages on our Veramex website without divulging any information about yourself. In those cases where your name, address or other particulars are required, the website will advise you of this in advance. Your individual user data is used to improve Veramex web-related services for your benefit.
Every time someone visits a Stuttgarter Messe- und Kongressgesellschaft website, his or her visit generates site-usage data. This data is stored for backup purposes, but could conceivably also be used to identify the visitor (e.g. IP address, date and time, pages viewed). Veramex analyses its data for statistical purposes and to identify trends, but adheres strictly to the stringent data security provisions of Germany's Teleservices Data Protection Act (TDDSG) and the Data Protection Regulations for Telecommunications Enterprises (TDSV). Our analysis of this data does not include any attempt to link it to individuals. We nevertheless reserve the right to use this data for our own statistical evaluations.

Providing Personal Data to Third Parties

Any associated service organizations that receive personal data from us are bound to the provisions of the BDSG Act and to the terms of Veramex Privacy Policy. In cases where required by law, including by court order, Veramex will turn over your data in the appropriate scope to the authorized party.

Veramex will not turn over your data to third parties for any other purposes, unless it has your explicit approval to do so.

Security

Veramex stores your data on specially protected servers in Germany. Access is restricted to a handful of authorized persons who are empowered by Veramex to administer the technical, commercial and content-related aspects of the server.

When transferring data, Veramex uses the SSL protocol to encrypt your data and prevent any unauthorized access by third parties during the transmission process.

Right to cancel

At your request, Stuttgarter Messe- und Kongressgesellschaft will refrain from using your data to contact you or will even delete your data altogether.

Data that is essential for order processing or other commercial purposes will not be deleted, even if you cancel your participation.

Use of Cookies

Cookies are ASCII files (cookie.txt) in which text information is collected during your online session and stored. Your WWW browser determines where the cookies are stored on your hard disk. Cookies contain information that is sent back to the server during your next online visit. They can be read only by the server that originally placed them on your hard disk.

Veramex employs only cookies that are absolutely necessary for user functions or that serve as an aid to you in navigating our website. This information is not made available to third parties - cookies are used solely for the above - mentioned purposes.
